The Unspoken Language

Winter is Coming
In the absence of words, there is Silence, the true unspoken language
In the absence of words, there is nothing

Time stops. Ideas are lost. A bond is broken. Temporary?

A mental block, a mental note. A revelation...and so...

She sat down today to write a letter she never wrote.

She sat down today to be heard but only Silence answered

Her mind awhirl, her heart a flutter, the words failed her
And of Silence there was more

She sat down today with a purpose, with hope, with a wish
But the words betrayed her, once a friend, now a foe

Questions? Answers?
Imagined? Real?
Fleeting? Forever?

Time might tell, time might reveal
Patience is waiting

She sat down today, confused, misunderstood
At a loss for those words

She sat down today and discovered she was alone
With Silence

Delving into a different genre here, dear readers, so be brave with me and take a glance at my latest adventure.
